No, I find it just right. Not too big and not too small. You will like it.

I went to the bss to get some more applicator tip bottles and I spotted the K Cutter! It was only $1.59 so I grabbed it. FYI--the brand name for this one is Gold Magic. It's item # GM-KC1 and it's distributed by the Burmax Co. in Holtsville, NY. If your bss doesn't carry them maybe they can order them...

I can see why the security guards at the club thought it was a weapon!

Thanks for sharing...I ordered 2. My Mom has a comb like this that was my grandmother's for years. It's sort of a pink & white color. The comb always scared me so I never tried it.

I bought a K-cutter last month and I absolutely love it! Since the teeth are really long, detangling isn't a hassle and my hair doesn't get snagged.

I've been wanting one for a while, after I read this post I went and ordered 2, one for my mom and sis to use to since we all have natural hair. It should be here on Monday, I can't wait! Luvhair, try going to ebonyline.com, then look up K Cutter. It should work.

!! Yea... I've tried to avoid combing it for the past few months since I've been in braids, but I just took them out and haven't really combed it yet, just detangled with my hands. It seems to take forever and it gets so tangled, I hope this comb will be the answer.

it will help, just remember you still have to be patient and gentle while using it , and using it on wet /conditioned hair is the biggest help...when my daughter first started using it she was rippin out her hair, till she figured it out, with my help...i thought she would just know how to use it...so there is a technique to using it for detangling....i do it in layers and am still gentle...those that have said it was too rough...its not the comb its how its used

Thanks for mentioning that, so I should do it in layers. Yes patience is a big factor. I get so impatient sometimes, my arms get tired.... but i have to learn to go easy with it. I don't want to ruin what progress I have made. I'm scurred, lol!

Oh I did not see that. I am thinking about buying some other stuff too. I will compare both sites.

I have been wondering what a k cutter was. Back in the day, we called it a cake cutter! Yep there were some ghetto folks who used it for a weapon. I have one in my closet and have carried it around for many many years!

Hello - I'm so happy because I just bought the K-Cutter today at a local bss (Los Angeles - crenshaw & imperial) for only $2.99 plus tax, I can't wait to try it today after work.

I was wondering if it is okay to use in the shower becasue this is the only time that I comb my hair is during my daily c/0 washes? I see that the ends of it is metal-like substance or not?

Best comb EVER!! Lovin it!

It helped me save alot of hair when I took down my braids last month. I would've lost much, much more than that if I didn't use it.

I was just in Sally's last night looking for one for my daughter. I didn't see them. Lawd knows I need all the help I can get with my baby Gossamer(Nay Head!)

I'm gonna try a few BSSes first and then fall on the link you gave. Thanks!

Thanks for sharing this. I'm about to order me a k-cutter right now :)

So you need a $15 minimum purchase ebonyline. If there is someone that is making a purchase from that site or needs to buy more than one for their minimum order, do you mind letting me get one, and I will pay you right back. Or we could even do a trade of some sort. I have a bunch of stuff incl. Mane 'n Tail Deep Moisturizing Conditioner, Himani Gold Turmeric Skin Cream
