My last perm was 7/14...I planned on streching until 10/28..well last night I found a short piece in my hair:wallbash:...does this mean that I need to retouch to avoid anymore breakage? What do I do:blush:

I wouldn't recommend putting a relaxer on breaking hair, you should find and fix the problem before doing that. If I were in the same boat, I would clarify, do a protein treatment and then dc with moisturizing conditioner. HTH! :)

thanx...what protein treatments and mositerizers do you suggest? my new growth is sdreaming to be relaxed:perplexed...i dunno

yep. exactly.

Nexxus Emergencee or Aphogee Protein for Damaged Hair (intense)
ORS Hair Mayo or Motions CPR (medium)
Or

Maybe a good performing reconstructor will do.

Aphogee 2 Minute Keratin Reconstructor Treatment
Fantasia One Minute Reconstructor (in the white tube)

And following with the most yummiest deep condish.

Hi AgapeQueen. I say Motions CPR and a good daily moisturizer.

I agree. Moisture is key when stretching you have to pay close attention to the new growth esp. where the different textures meet as well as the ends.

Yep I second that...moisture moisture and more moisture is the key...have you tried s-curl spray, it helps my roots! and I ALSO SAY A GOOD PROTEIN CONDITIONER...Aphogee is good- the 2 min Reconstructor- Good Luck...the stretch will pay off!
