Does this make the hair hard? Is it considered a mild reconstructor? How does it compare to Affirm 5 in 1?
Thanks..........

I use this and it doesn't make my hair hard. I have sometimes added a little (desinger one)? hot oil with it and use heat for about 20 min., and it leaves my hair soft.

It didn't leave my hair hard. I consider it to be a mild protein not as intense as the Aphogee Treatment.

Keraphix is just a mild protein conditioner. I shouldn't make your hair hard. It always leaves my hair feeling soft after I use it.

No, it is not on the same line as the 5 in 1.

Thanks for your help, its just that I've been using Joico Kpak and I only leave it on for 5 to 10 mins without heat, then I follow it up with LUST or any other moisturising conditioner, but my hair is still hard to comb afterwards, and I end up getting breakage, so it kind of defeats the purpose. So I just wanted a protein conditioner that will strengthen my hair and give it elasticity, its not damaged so I don't think I need a very strong one. What do y'all think?

Not everybody's hair responds well to heavy duty protein. I would try the Keraphix if that's what you think may work for you. Alternatively, aphoGEE has a 2 minute reconstructer which is mild in my opinion. Maybe even too mild for my liking.I'm still shedding like a German Shepperd. It may be just right for you though. It's waay cheaper than the Keraphix too. The Affirm 5 in 1 is on my TO Try list, for sure
