Ok ladies its almost about that time, if your on the east its probably that time. im in the midwest i got about 20 minutes, west coast ladies i think you have a few hours. If i have missed anyones name on the list please let me know,i don't want to miss anyone. Stay strong ladies we can do this. If you have the strong urges lets us know. We can support each other, i never thought that so many people would want to join. I am so happy. Lets knock this month out the box, get rid of some stuff, find some staples,enjoy what we have. Aww snap. Well ok, I picked up some hairbands, rhinestone clips and tiny butterfly clips, all for $4 plus tax. I want some Redken Heat Glide but I will have to wait until after the challenge is over. erplexed

I would be lying and say I'm gonna be able ot do this, but that's cause I'm searching for that special something....lol but for those of you that are trying to stop the urge of shopping I would say go do some "shopping" in your own cabinets, you may be surprised at what you find- I've done it before when I looked thru all my hair clutter- and by the time you finish yo umay get overwhelmed by the mass and not desire to buy a new item or you may just find something "new" that you forgot you had!! lol! Hope everyone meets their goals!

I shop my stash all the time. It's amazing how much stuff you forget you had!

According to your rules, if you run out of something it CAN be replaced.

Sooo, some of my snap rollers are losing the tension and don't hold well when I do my rollersets so I need to throw a handful away and buy some to REPLACE!.

REPLACE..I'm still good!

This is ALL stuff related to my hair. Minus about 5 bottles, i left in the bathroom..

I need to reduce this to HALF before i go out buying more stuff.

Saw a Family Size bottle of Suave 'Citrus Smoothie' Conditioner on clearance for 50 cents.

Just couldn't pass up that co-washing experience...

I mean..IT WAS 50 CENTS!! I put the bottle in my hand, then thought about all the other conditioners i have YET to use up then put the bottle back down..

Went down an aisle, came back and started sniffing the bottle like a crackhead...put the bottle in my cart and said fcuk it.

IT WAS 50 CENTS!!

I know exactly how you felt. I would have done the same thing.

I almost failed on the 1st day. I tried to order some products online the 31st of Jan and the order wouldn't go through.

I never had a problem ordering from the site before.

Any who, the 1st day of the challenge rolls around and I heard a seductive whisper in my ear. It kept saying, "Well, you won't fail the challenge if you order the stuff today because you tried to order it yesterday but the web-site wasn't working right so it doesn't count. Technically, you are finalizing an order started on the 31st. So go ahead. It doesn't count. Go ahead. Get your stuff."

I gave in.

Did it work? No! My order still wouldn't go through - more web-site difficulties.

I thought about trying again.

But after thinking about it for a while, I took the two failures as a sign, and stepped away from the computer.

It is really hard but i have to remember why i wanted to do this. All these sales and reviews, and new lines that could be the perfect product for my hair(sigh). If we can get past valentines day. We can make it. I actually went through all my products and its not so bad, I gave some things away in the hated it give it to me thread, and i might do some more. I really want to find my staple line or products. My problem is i can't just buy one of nothing i am a multiple junkie. I can't even finish a product before i go on to the next but its gotta stop for me. Im going to continue to experiment with the products that i have to see if they are truly keepers. Play with your stashes ladies its kind of fun to revisit stuff.
