Mine is gone all thick it's hard to get it out off the bottle, im used it it being of a little more 'watery' consistency
and my hair no longer feels moisturised it just feels greasy and weighed down all day :(
:wallbash::wallbash:

Is this the moisturizer. I bought some a couple of months back and its sooooo hard to get out the bottle I have to remove the lid. Could u post the original ingredients please. I spritz my hair with my juice b4 hand anway and apply my ors moisturiser and then I seal with coconut oil so my hair feels pretty good.

Yeah I brought some of this and I took it back because it just sat on top of my hair and made it super greasy.

i thought i was the only one
i dont have the original bottle but ill have a look for the ingredients
yeah i have to remove the lid and squeeze the whole bottle to get a little out
it just won't do
*sigh* just when i found something my hair seemed to like

Maybe that's why the teacher became allergic, all of a sudden, too that 8 year old girl's hair after a year of her using the same product.

oh i haven't tried the one in the jar but the one in the bottle isn't watery at all anymore:(

Oh no! This used to be my staple moisturizer but recently it has left my hair coated and greasy. I was hoping that they hadnt changed the formula but the last 3 bottles i bought have been odd. The product had separated in all the bottles, there was a liquid layer on top of the thick product that is really hard to get out of the bottle. Shaking the bottle before use didnt mix them together.

Mines completely the same I've had to wash it out

Yeah its horrible i also washed it out and binned it i wont be buying another one if the ingredients have definitely been changed

Yes ladies, the formula has def. changed. I bought a bottle about 3- 4 weeks ago after not using any the last year. Each time I used the new bottle, my hair looked & felt greasy and still felt dry & brittle to the touch...not to mention the product is so thick it is almost impossible to dispense from the squeeze bottle without causing hand cramps. I was NOT happy:wallbash:

I won't be finishing that bottle. It will be for desperate times only for when I run out of my staple moisturizer and either don't have time or $$$ to get more

This question has been raised before so don’t feel like you are alone in thinking the product doesn’t work the same. As a matter of fact, the ingredients have changed more than once on this product and I emailed the company about a year ago about it and never heard back. Needless to say, I won’t be purchasing again. Below are some of the different ingredient lists I found out here on the net. The 3rd one (from Sally Beauty’s website) is the oldest formula I could find. The only reason I know it’s an older formula is because I compared it to an old empty ORS lotion bottle under by bathroom counter that I use to mix my shampoo w/water sometimes. The main difference that I see is that petrolatum was moved up the list and peanut oil, hydrogenated castor oil, and hydrogenated vegetable oil have been removed. I used to love this product after BB Castor Oil Lotion ingredients were changed (mineral oil was added and I didn’t like it after that). Good luck in finding an alternative, I am sure there are plenty of moisturizers that work just as well.

My formula is the second one...I had this stuff once a long time ago so I dont know how different it is...:look: I have an older bottle back at the house that I got in the fall, I'll check the ingredients next month when I'm there...:yep:

Ugh. I bought that stuff when I was on the hunt for a god moisturizing lotion and one of the ladies on here recommended it. Needless to say it was total and complete crap. I'm sorry I wasted my money on it and I truly think whatever ORS did to the formula it was a total mistake.

The mixture was impossible to get out of the tube and I finally got so frustrated I stopped using it entirely, I decided it wasn't worth it and just shoved it into a bin in my hallway. BOO on ORS!
