The last sale SD had was like Feb and from how she was talking it was like there wasn't even gonna be a BF sale..kinda like how Qhemet never has sales and peeps act a fool when there is an inkling of a sale lol.

NOPE, not higher than 10%

2012 she had a contingent sale like spend x amount of dollars get x% off so you had to have a minimum purchase.

I believe its $75 and up gets you free shipping always.
I remember there being one or two free shipping flash sales for smaller purchases earlier in the year.


I'm Debating..knock out my BF purchase now..or roll the dice and see what happens later..

When I ordered during the Mother's Day Sale this year there was Free S&H Over $75 - my order came up to $74.80 & I still received the free shipping ... I think this goes on all year long (Free S&H Over $75)

I personally prefer bigger discounts and maybe a Free S&H Over $50 or something, especially when it's normal for a lot of the other vendors to offer sales upwards of 20% ... but in the Silk Dreams thread I remember the question was asked regarding the low 10% off sales and the owner (Supergirl) mentioned that when she built her brand she was more focused on keeping her everyday prices affordable or something like that so ....

NappyRina and I think she's done just that! Her prices are quite reasonable with the Dream BIG option. I used to use Kizuri's Cocoa Vanilla which is 10 dollars (comparable to the more expensive Bask Cacao Bark) and with the Dream BIG SD's Chocolate DC is 9 dollars so it's cheaper. Her shipping time is a little long but she has consistency and you can order as much as you want! I like Silk Dreams so far honestly and I am pretty picky with small vendors because of my past experiences with a couple of them.

I just ordered from Silk Dreams - first time I have ever ordered! I got the Vanilla Silk deep conditioner, Destination Hydration conditioner, Mocha Silk hair milk, Go Moist shampoo and the Wheat Germ Butter conditioner. The 10% off code worked and I just ordered

Shipping was $7.99 to my friend's place in the US. I'm Canadian, so I am used to astronomical shipping rates so it didn't seem too bad to me I'm excited to get my package Nov 22 (when I'll see my friend next)!

myronnie you got it right about her being consistent. Silk dreams is the most consistent (online only) line I have used. I also love qhemet, but I find that she doesn't use enough (at all, lol) protein for my hair.
With the dream big in her most popular item, the price isn't bad.
I'm getting my bf stuff as soon as I get home from work.

I hope not. She posted in the vendor s forum that she is not sure she will have a BF sale, and if she does it will be a small one. I ll take anything, lol.
I just placed my order for some Shea what, RCA, and destination hydration using this 10%. I want, but do not need, some more wheat germ butter, mocha bling butter, almond butter cream. If there s a BF sale, I will haul again. If not I will get these items as needed.
