OH MY....I got caught at work

I'm so embarrassed. To make matters worst he said out loud - "Pink is on LHCF...hahaha.....Anyone else down with LHCF. I wonder if they have a short hair care forum....hahahha."

I'm whispering can you please be quiet....but he continues. The coworkers in my aisle are crackin up and I know it's just a matter of time before they google this site for kicks.

Ironically, I brought in a bag of hair products this morning that I'm no longer using to give away.

On a good note, it's only one black girl on my aisle, and she already knows that I'm a hair fanatic. The rest of them probably don't care but was just laughing for kicks!

I'm ready to go home now.....sigh.

I can't wait to move to my new office. I'll have my desk situated to where no one can walk behind me. This office is too darn small! I know, I went a little left. But people will walk in here without knocking and see someone's head or progress pic and they'll look at me like I'm weird.

The very first time my husband peeked over my shoulder, he was really quiet for a long time before he went away and sat again at his desk. I looked up at him after a moment and giggled.

"I can see your brain working, Bae. What are you thinking?" I pushed the top of my laptop down a little see him better. He was breathing really quickly.
"Hmmm?"
"Dexter, what are you thinking about right now?" My grin turned to a frowning smile.
He then grinned foolishly, his breathing more slowed. "I'm thinking that I thought you were looking at porn and I am thinking that I'm glad I kept watching and didn't say what was about to come out of my mouth. We would have had the worst argument in this universe. Girl...I was 'bout to kick you out my house!" He fell out laughing at that point, embarrassed AND relieved.

Your co-worker was nosy, but it can look that way to a casual observer who knows nothing about a love for lengthy, healthy hair. Our bare back hair pics can look a little strange. As a matter of fact, I was uncomfortable when I first saw some pictures until I had been here for a few weeks and saw that it was only to show hair length comparisons more accurately.

Anyway...too long of a post. Sorry. I'm glad you got to give away the products and that no one reprimanded you at work.

I had a co-worker that thought he was a stand-up comedian (minus the comedy) and he stood over me in our office reading out the title of my page loud and slow. He made some stupid joke about it and I replied, just as loud, "I would read your websites out loud... but porn is just full of images." I wasn't sure if he surfed for porn or not... until he got quiet and made a face before he walked off.... GOT HIM!

LOL...I have a lot of hair products that I order online come to the job. Everytime I open my package the Controller always happen to be walking by and stops at my cubicle. He starts reading the label descriptions and asked me once what is chelating..... People are just nosey!

Nope you are right. Due to the recession our company downsized. One of the girls said she got caught on the internet and our supervisor made a comment. Unfortunately she got let go, among other reasons. But once she told me that, I significantly slowed down my LHCF time at work. Thats why I don't sleep at night

As a manager I cosign. Y'all would be AMAZED at exactly what can be tracked. EVERYTHING! Every key stroke you type. The economy is bad and any little excuse can help a decision to be made. Also some managers are not very direct and consider soft little comments to be a warning. I know it sucks, but be careful and I recommend that you follow whatever rules are in place.

Fortunately my boss is very open, she's told us numerous times she doesn't care what sites we go on at work or how often (as long as it doesn't contain adult content) as long as our work gets done.
