OK so 13 weeks ago i got a relaxer and at the same time got my hair cut really short - shaved in the back and she left a little at the top

to me it was a big chop cuz i hadn't had my hair cut like that before, it was damaged and thinning so it's gone

well nooowwww, 13 weeks later i am trying to determine if i want to keep going starting maybe a transition to natural OR go for the relaxer

- this is my dillema

MY HAIR IS SO DRY, AND IT GETS SO PACKED TO MY HEAD IT LOOKS TERRIBLE - i use a pick to pick it out ( gonna order a k-cutter comb )

it's not the soft curly new growth it's dry coiled around itself new growth that is always, always dry no matter what i do to it, especially after i wash it

how can i tame my hair so i can grow it out naturally?

man ya'll i don't know what do to :nono:

I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THE K-CUTTER, GO SEE A PROFESIONAL. THE K-CUTTER IS A RAZZOR BLADE INSIDE THE COMB AND CAN TAKE BIG CHUNKS OUT OF YOUR HAIR..

maybe it's scab hair?
have u been to nappturality... there's good natural hair advice there

What is " scab hair " ?

that don't sound to good ... can that be an issue w/ ur all of the hair?

i thought the k cutter comb was good for natural hair? Should i just use a regular plastic pick?
