Yep! I like it...but I will say with my natural hair I do feel like I need to condition (same with the old one though), but with my relaxed hair I didn't feel like this. I definitely ran my fingers through my hair with the shampoo in it while washing in sections.

This is encouraging :yep: I need that detangling feeling back that was missing in the newer version. I'm gonna check the Sally's in my area to see if they have it yet.
 
Texas Beauty Supply has the original formula in a one gallon size. I don't know how many they have left.
 
Yesterday I brought the Moisture and Shine Sulfate Free Shampoo, The Oil Moisturizer (smells amazing) and a sample size of the Intervise conditioning treatment. I dont have the funds to restock my keracare products so i hope this line is comparable. I will report back next week after I wash!
 
I'm happy to report that I finally got my hands on a bottle of the CON Argan oil Moisture and Shine shampoo. :yay:

For my DC ladies, I got it @ Cambridge Beauty Supply on Rhode Island Ave NW. They also have a store out in Largo, MD in the Capital Blvd shopping center. I plan to use it tonight for a wash.

I'll be back later to post my review.
 
I have checked everywhere (Sally's included) and no luck thus far. There are a few CON argan items on shelves but not the shampoo.

I just got my hands on some original CON yesterday. My very first time using it. HANDS DOWN the best shampoo ever!!

Does anyone know why they can't just bring back this version? It seems they are consulting the online hair community on their products ... as far as I can see, everyone is just praying that the new version is the same as the old one ... I mean, companies normally pay tens of thousands of dollars for market research studies, to find out what their customers want. But in this situation, everyone is pretty much telling/ even begging for the old formula ... Why are they so resistant to that?
 
i went to 6 or 7 beauty supplies yesterday and brought the last 2 bottles in the last store i went into.....i took 1 oz and diluted it with 3-4oz water to wash my hair with in sections, i'll report whether i like it later. my reggie was paraben free but if i like this poo, i'll make it the exception.
 
:sekret:Sooo...Ive been trying to stay out of this thread because I felt so bad for ladies that couldnt get their hands on the old formula..BUT...today I was in my local BSS, (they have always had it), and they had the old CON on sale for 1.99 each...now, its a smaller bottle, but hell, I dont care..

I tried to find it today in the Boston area... no luck! :( I think if ppl were able to get the show "The Game" back on the air, we can do the same with the old CON. Let's start writing letters! NOTHING COMPARES!!!!!
 
so when argan oil is no longer the hot ingredient, are they gonna change the formula again?
 
Hey for the ladies in Charlotte...........EC Beauty Supply on South Blvd and Tyvola has it. My mom grabbed a bottle for me as the guy was setting up the display. I haven't used it yet, though.
 
I'm wondering how long the old bottles stay fresh. If they discontinued that formula a year or two ago, what is the shelf life like?

@EllePixie That was a really nice review (I love how you talk using acronyms/hair board speech:grin:), and your hair looks soooo nice :drool:Sure wish you'd share what color nail polish you were wearing...:look:

Thanks! The nail polish is Sally Hansen Insta-Dry in Sonic Boom...I love those polishes because they seriously dry in a minute or two and look good with one coat.

Man! I was so hoping shipping would be a decent price....it's almost $13:nono:

I'm going to look around some stores where I live and hopefully I'll find some. I could never find another good sulfate free shampoo after they discontinued this one.

Shipping smipping - I've wasted so much money on inferior shampoos I'm getting some today! I must be the only one that used the regular old version and this is the first time I've seen in anywhere. Can someone on here to verify that they've used this vendor before - I'm itiching to hit purchase on this basket.
