I have been a memeber of Long Hair Care Forum for one year now, and my hair is not even close to bra strap or arm pit level. I wonder if the one thing that I havent done yet, is the one thing preventing me from reaching my goal...
Which brings me to the quesiton...how important is it to wrap your hair at night or whenever your lounging around the house?
This is the one habit I cannot seem to get into. This year I have made it a resolution. I obviously need to protect my hair 24/7 or close to it, because I for the life of me, cannot understand why its so hard to grow my hair out past my shoulders.
What are your thoughts on this?
Also, do any of you find that growing out curly hair is easier then growing it out while wearing straight styles? When i was younger, my stylist curled my hair on rollers and thats how i wore my hair the majority of time. When I got into college, I got into the flat iron and wrap styles...thats when I experienced breakage and ever since then, I have never been able to grow my hair long again.
I need help!

Most folks notice their hair getting thicker before getting longer.
Your hair is much thicker in the Sept 07 pic than the Mar 07 pic. Those are also the same months you got hair cuts, right? It might be the scissors and not your reggie that's making it hard to see progress.

. I think if you step away from the scissors and do what the other posters have stated above then you will see results for yourself. Your hair is growing and has made progress. Don't be discouraged!!!!
