Me and my cousin, Beautifulbrwnbabydol had our first annual natural hair seminar in Memphis, TN on yesterday. I have attached our flyer (the flyer's quality is so-so) and will add pictures throught this thread.

We were shown SO MUCH SUPPORT from sponsors for this event. We gave away so many great hair products, jewelry, t-shirts, body items, books, etc.

Our vendors came out with full force, too, and they racked up nicely.

Congratulations!!! I had a great time and saw so many beautiful naturals. It was good to meet you and Beautifulbrwnbabydol. The seminar was informative and you ladies were so patient during the Q & A and photo sessions. Thank you for including Memphis in the loop. :)

Is one of the ladies posing from iovemybrownskin? I was at the Natural Hair Expo Saturday, and it looked like she wore a hair piece. I bought her Love and Naturalness bag, though.

Wow it looks like it was an awesome event. I've never seen soo many afro's in one place :) I love it! I wonder if anyone puts on events like this in the LA-SD area, I would definitely go. Thanks for posting.

You ladies did a great job with the seminar. It was well worth the trip from Midtown to Cordova. I spent most of my time buying stuff from Perfect Piece. I'll know next time that when you say be back in 7 minutes, I need to be back in 7 minutes :lachen:

You should have seen me. Me and another woman walked up at the same time. I looked at her, she looked at me, we looked down at the pair of earrings on the table. There was one pair of the pink lightning bolts and one pair of the silver lightning bolts. Thankfully, she nabbed the silver lightning bolts.

Will this be a travelling seminar? Because if you're coming to Oklahoma/Northern Texas, I would be the first one there!
