hey yall!!

its so interesting tlmack posted chilli's advice...ive been doing that for a month now...braiding at night after combing/picking through gently with oil, saturating a bit with oil, massaging scalp, putting on a hair net to keep the braids together and wrapping up my hair loosely..

its worked SO NICELY!! ima get pictures soon.. i think all the ladies were right. it keeps in moisture, keeps hair knot and tangle free, and really helps to oil and lubricate the hair in general especially if you got curlier hair.

i think everyone should try it out at least for a couple weeks. i fell off last night lol..but i just did a jojoba deep conditioning treatment and braided up..now its wrapped and my hair felt sooo good braiding it because of the light tugging (which as previously mentioned helps to stimulate scalp further) i originally got the idea from the "haitian women must have a secret" thread because it helped me remember back to my ma and my grandma doing the same thing! lol

anyone else been doing this?

ima have pictures soon yall..lol im a lil poor now and my phone cam isnt hittin it..lol

ps: tlmack-- good post!!!!! im glad someone mentioned it!

keep at it girl..

the results that you get will be well worth it..jus watch out for the conditioner cos of the build-up..thats the only problem i got with conditioner is that it builds-up on the scalp really easily even though im CRAZY:eek: for it! lol
