For detangling and everyday styling. I got some great info the other day about the importance of using really good combs. Although the comb I use is wide toothed, I think my hair gets snagged on the tips of it when the color comes off.

Can anyone recommend a good one? Price isn't a factor. Here's what I use now (don't mind the other stuff in the photo. It's from my PinCurls album):

Thanks in advance :)

Thanks Dana

Are the K-cutters sold in stores? We're in the same area so I can get one today. I'm also gonna order some seamless ones from Tenderheaded.com, but it may take a while to get them.

I agree with So1913 about the Jilbere Shower Comb. I was using a wide toothed comb and I think my was snagging my hair too. When I purchased the Jilbere one, the problem was solved. :)

Cool beans. I'll go pick up one of those today (if I can get out of the SNOW) then wait for my tenderheaded one to arrive.

That site is great! I just noticed that they make silk bonnets with an elastic band that's covered in silk!! It's soooo hard to find those.

Thanks again everyone!!!!!!

Hey SG

I use the Jilbere shower comb as well and it's great for detangling in the shower. I have another comb though that I use after I'm out of the shower and for combing that is excellent. It's hands down the best comb I've used. It's called the magic star jumbo rake comb. I ordered it here . http://www.zooscape.com/cgi-bin/maitred/RedSafari/questp401051

I just got a Jilbere Shower Comb Monday because my seamless bone combs kept breaking.. I'm glad I did, I love the thing.. it's just NOT good for parting at all.. I have to use the end of a rattail comb for that..

I use a regular jumbo rake/detangling comb from the BSS and I don't get any tangle or snags. Some of my best combs cost well under $5 and I wouldn't trade them.

Hey Allandra, Army, Tosca, Candibaby, FoxyBronx, and Boadicea

Thank you all so much! I went out into the snow :) and picked up a couple of Jilbere combs (one shower and one regular). I also ordered a couple of seemless ones off the tenderheaded site. It'll be nice to have backups!!!

Thanks so much you guys. I can't believe it took so long for me to replace my old combs!

After reading this post, I went out and purchased the Jilbere Shower Comb - it's absolutely wonderful. It just glides through my hair while wet!

This one's a keeper

Hey Sweetcakes

I thought of you the other day- I replenished my CDLM just in time for the sub-zero degree weather :)

Thanks everyone for the recommendations. I have not received my tenderheaded.com seemless combs yet, but I've been using the Jilbere Shower Comb for a while now and it's amazing! Totally glides thru my hair, wet or dry.

Thanks so much!

Yes, I have had my Jilbere since I joined the forum. One of the things I learned about while reading every single post in the archives! :)
