I wanted to share with the board my hair progress for the last 11 months. Pictures were taken Sept 2009, Nov 2009, Feb 2010, March 2010, Aug 2010. (sorry I havent learned how to put the dates on the photos yet). I have to give lots of thanks to this board, I believe i would not have made it this far with everyones excellent advice here. I will be working on getting past BSL now.

Thanks ladies

Great Job!!!!! Your hair looks great. What is your reggie?

First thing i did was stop using any shampoos with SLS. I use WEN, or Mill Creek Keratin Shampoo. To condition I use Joico Reconstructor and Intense Hydrator. During this summer I had worn my hair up everyday in a ponytail or twist leaving the condish in my hair for about 3 days at a time then washing and reapplying. My other staples are unrefined coconut oil, and camilla oil. I just got a steamer for my birthday and used for the first time last week and was amazed at how my hair felt, needless to say I will be using my steamer 1x a week. I also take Biotin, Odorless Garlic, and multivitamin supplements. Also i still use relaxer but i stretch much longer now, going at least 16 -20 weeks between touchups.

Thanks to you all and this forum. I know if i wasnt here i would have kept experiencing breakage, using the wrong products, and just not having the education i should about my hair. This board is amazing and with determination everyone can reach their hair goals.
