Question for those with Relaxed Hair...

I was relaxing every 6 weeks with my previous hairdresser (i've recently decided to stop going to her because she's SCISSOR HAPPY and never does my hair the way i want it) but I want to go at least 11 or 12 weeks between relaxers now, and I plan to start that by getting braids soon.

Oh, and I do think it delayed my growth because I wouldn't say that I actually NEEDED a relaxer all those times she just up and permed my hair.

I just retouched my hair at the end of March 5 months after relaxing it in October. The reason why I go so long is because I don't have the breakage, and I don't mind it looking a bit puffy at times.

I also have mildly relaxed hair, so I need to have a lot of newgrowth so I don't overlap.

Before I went natural I fell into the routine of touching up every month. I've gotten lazy and just prefer to stretch it out and I save money on top of that too
