I want to try a tea rinse with some of the powders that I already have to see if I like it better than using them in a paste.

But I've never done a tea rinse before. Do you do it before or after conditioning? And do you leave it in or eventually rinse it out?

If I use cleansing powders to make the tea, I use it before conditioner.
If I use conditioning powders to make the tea, I use the tea as my conditioner.

I've also made a tea of conditioning and moisturizing powders to use as the "water" in my water/oil/condish spray bottle mix for daily spritzing.

HTH! :)

This was helpful. Thank you!

Do you rinse it out or is it meant to stay in your hair?

My spray mix stays in my hair.

The other teas are rinsed out as a part of the cleansing/DCing process.
