I posted about this in hair recipies but it seems like people don't go there often. I want to use the coconut lime thing to help stretch my relaxers. What is the minimum and maxium amount of time I should leave this on my hair? Also, I have highlights will the lime in this mixture lighten my highlights? Is this mixture even safe for someone with highlights? TIA!

I tried it like 3yrs ago. I am a natural and it didn't do jack for me except dry out my hair. The conditioner concoctions that I make @ home, make detangling a breeze, and IF I feel like going curly, it seems to make the curls more uniform, as in my avatar. Basically I see it as a deep conditioner. It didn't do ANYTHING to change, straighten, lengthen,"relax" the curl pattern at all. It was a waste of the money that I had spent in buying the products at the time. I haven't ever tried it since!
