Quick Question about Rollers

Can someone tell me what size rollers they think I should get? The one's I'm using now are too small, and I'm going to get some new ones..Also, how many rollers and those pin/clip things too? TIA.

One inch rollers are teal green right. I use the red ones(1.5 inches) and the teal greens ones(1 inch). The purple ones are 1.75 inch, green 3 inches and gray 2 inches. Remember usually the larger the are the harder they are to put in.

Datjerseydyme, It really depends on what type of dryer u use. I cant wear gray rollers (2 in) under my dryer (goldnhot) because i wouldnt be able to fit. So i am stuck on purple rollers (1.75 in). I wish I had a bigger dryer though because my hair takes forever to dry with the purple rollers.

Thanks Anky. I hate how long it takes my hair to dry under my dryer too. That's one reason I need bigger rollers. I think I'm going to get ther 1.75 too because I have a gold 'n hot. How many rollers do you use? and how many clips?

I dont use all purple rollers on my hair because I am too cheap to buy more. I usually put four black rollers (maybe 1.0 in) in the front with clips and 12 purple rollers in the back. It usually takes me over an hour and thirty minutes to dry completely.

BTW, yea Datjerseydyme, those pink rollers are too small for all that hair on your hair. But keep them. I use the pink rollers when I have a lot of new growth to straighten. They're great when I am 11-12 weeks post relaxer!

Thanks a lot! So I gues I need to buy a few packs of rollers so that I won't have to buy more when my hair gets longer. I know those rollers are too small, I think I'm just scared to have to rollerset my OWN hair with the clips instead of the cover thingies. THANKS SO MUCH for taking the time to reply!

I don't think anything is wrong with them, but I haven't seen any bigger one's without the cover thingy. So I have to learn how to use the clips.

Its easy Datjerseydyme, the trick is to put the clip under the roller.

I have always used the big purple rollers and mine has the cover thinges. I also use the pink and orange with the covers. The pink and orange are the same size as the red ones.

I buy my rollers from the BSS's. The brand/package name is Diane. Sally's does not sell them. in The rollers

I use the big, purple magnetic ones on my hair for a rollerset. I use the clasp that comes with it, but I'm going to invest in some silver clips because the clasp leaves a dent in my curls.

If I want smaller curls, I'll use the green ones.

I get a dent on some of the curls. I think it's due to not rolling correctly or rolling too much hair because many of them turn out nice and smooth.

Maybe I am using rollers to smaller. What size/color should I be using for body with 3-4inch hair. Right now I am using the orange rollers with the silver clips. Should I be using the 1" rollers (teal green) instead.
