Ran into LHCF member....

So I'm in Sally's purchasing some Caruso Steam Rollers and I overhear a lady on another isle asking the lady that works there for help. She mentioned she was a member of the Long Hair Care Forum - I was floored..lol. I went over there and introduced myself and the black lady that worked at Sallys (with beautiful natural hair) and the LCHF Member (her Fotki is KKSBlessed but she doesn't have pictures yet) talked for a good 30 minutes about this forum and about Macherieamour's beautiful hair! I wrote a list of websites down for the lady that worked their and told her to be sure to check out LHCF and join!

I hope you got the free 1" curling iron that comes with Caruso's this month at Sally's.
It's not as good as the one offered last month, but hey it's FREE!!!

That's cool. I've met a few people and wondered if they might be on here but never get the courage to ask. I'm afraid I might sound vain or something being on site about hair.

She actually approached ME. She asked me what hair products I use. I told her SEVERAL. She was like I'm still trying to figure out what works for me and I spend 4hrs on Long Hair Care Forum. I was blown away. I yelled, "Shut up! I'm a member too." It was fun running into her. Funny because we were both about to leave school and so decided to go "have some fun" at the beauty supply store and then we did lunch.

I feel the same way. There's this girl at my school who I think is a member but I'm afraid to ask her. One day I'm going to get the courage to ask her because I seen a plastic bag showing in her hair one day (baggie method?!??) hmm
I already met one girl at my school last year who is a member and we became close friends after finding out about our hair secret. But I didnt have to ask her because I saw her browsing the forum one day in the library and thats how I found out

That's awesome! I complimented a lady with gorgeous hair one day last week and asked her if she was "Niko's cousin"...regretfully, she was not. Maybe next time...of course, the way my head has been looking lately, I wouldn't expect anyone to ask me.

Yes, I've cut 10 inches since January . I just relaxed in October, at the time my hair was natural and too much for me to deal with!!!! Me no likey to comb my hair..lol I relaxed because I was inspired by Macheriomour (sp) I figured it definetly is possible to have beautiful, relaxed hair without breakage if it's done correctly. I've learned SSSSSOOOOO MMMUUCCCHH since I joined LHCF (and spent so much too ). I just want to concentrate on keeping my wig (I call everyone's hair a wig..haha) healthy! I'm going to chill at BSL for awhile because it's easy to deal with.

That is so neat! I didn't think I'd *EVER* run into anyone since I'm in Oklahoma haha! Texas I could see it happening, but Oklahoma I was pleasantly surprised!

No chance of me running into fellow LHCF members for me. I think there is only like 10 of us black ladies in my city.............Maybe a little more.......... But seriously, it would be a shock to meet someone from this site. In my city, I think I am the only one that knows about this site.
