So I've been using Dabur Vatika Coconut Hair Oil one night before I wash my hair weekly, then I wash it out the next day. It is really good stuff!!

It's making my hair so healthy and growing faster. I love it.

Anyone else use this???

Yup, Sure do!!! I use it as a prepoo as well. I hate that it solidifies and it's sometimes hard to get out that little bottle.

Yes. I poured mine into an old coconut oil jar so it is easy to scoop out if hardened.

I use it as a moisturizer & I love it! I get a nice shine. I put it into another container so I don't have to melt it every time I need some.

I remember buying it years ago when I first joined the board but I don't remember using it consistently.. I might pick some up omw home tonight. Your hair is on point. :yep:

No I haven't but I did wanna say your hair is off the chain!!!!!

this stuff is nice, if you love coconut oil, give it a try, plus its really cheap if you have a local Indian grocery store in your area, many Indian women oil their hair regularly i remember the Indian cashier at Walgreen's telling me about how she oils her hair weekly lets it sit overnight and washes it out in the morning, she had very pretty hair, she was in her mid-50's

Agreed. I use it the morning after while my hair is still a bit damp.

I used to use this all the time and I have a little left in my bottle.
It's nice!

I use it as a pre poo and I used with wngs over the summer. It is great for oiling the scalp when needed. I found it to be a much cheaper alternative to coconut oil since that is the majority ingredient in Carols

I had got it for my hair, but my hair hated it. Been using it (and straight coconut oil) on my body for the last 2 years... no turning back

its odd because my hair likes vatika oil, which is just fancy coconut oil

:look:edit !!! And this here is why reading is fundamental :lachen:... OP was talking about Vatika oil  I thought she was talking about the Dabur coconut hair oil

Oh and OP your hair is gorgeous - u relaxed or natural ?

how does this differ from regular coconut oil?

I loves it! I use it for overnight pre-poo's and a few other ways. It really softens the hair.

Your hair is really nice too.

It has: Triphala, Brahmi, Henna, Neem,
Lemon, Rosemary Oil, Kapurkachri, Soya Extracts (from the Dabur site).

Just stopping in to say ... your hair is EVERYTHING!

Great head of relaxed hair.. my hair hopes to grow up and be like yours lol !

I use it asa pre-poo for mine and DD's hair. Generally, my hair dislikes coconut oils but it seems the rest of the stuff in it makes it soooo much better.

It's one of my staples and I love the scent!

I used it as a final oil rinse last night after shampooing and DCing. Love it!

I've been using it for years. Have a bottle staring me in the face right now. I leave it in, use it for a prepoo...whichever! It's really good stuff. I'm used to the smell now but SO hates it lol

been using this for at least 6 years for detangling prepoo. love the way it feels on my scalp

I just started using it for my prepoos...so far so good

Italiano. That's my prepoo. Looking at your hair, I know what I'm going to do tonight:)

I like it on my scalp, it even colors my grey roots in between henna applications. I think it smells great.

Italiano, Vatika Hair Oil is the only commercial hair oil that I buy from the grocery store!

It is so wonderful and so easy to find. I like the smell, the feel. It really nourishes my hair.
