A VERY little goes a looong way. I thought it was too heavy at first, but realized I overused it. My hair can't take much.

I put it on after my hair is dry then flat iron.

exactly!! i used it on my dry hair then flat iron. but like Pixel Lady said, a little goes a very long way!
