How have you been doing since your last splurge? I've been doing great! I only bought 1 new Shampoo in 6 months and some hair samples!!! From now on, I'M ONLY GONNA PURCHASE MY STAPLES!!! That's it! Okay, I still may purchase trial sizes and samples from time to time! But So far, so good.......I'm giving myself a pat on the back!

My last was major purchase was curling custard in June. But I haven't bought anything since then and I'm determined to use all the conditioners, shampoos and misc. products before I buy anything more. So far so good. I have enough styling products to do a rotation, so I shouldn't have to buy anything for a few months.

Don't worry D, I'm gonna help you girl! First, admit you have PJism, then hide them dayum credit cards, tuck your cash away, and keep reminding yourself that you don't need nor have the room for anymore PRODUCTS! But seriously, I know it's hard, but we gon help ya! ((Huggs))

Okay, lil Sis! I'm proud of you! make baby steps in the right direction! NOW for the next couple of weeks concentrate on using what you already have! I'm telling you, when I went through my "stash" I was like Whoa....I re discovered some things I really liked. With fewer products, I found it easier to simplify my regimen cause I wasn't experimenting so much!

I have been bad soooo bad... Under the sink is full of stuff nut in self defence I was trying things to SEE what worked on my hair.... I am trying to develop a good regimen that is not too complicated. So I guess that I am not truly guilty of badness :fallenang

I think at one point, everyone was a PJ because it takes time to find out what works for your hair...and when you find it, stick with it! I had to shop around for my fav. shampoo and conditioner. Now that I've found it, I'm shopping around for a cheaper alternative to rotate with.

True....You are so right!!! When I first started out my hair growing journey, I was trying everthing people reccomend! Now that I have my beloved staples, I don't have to look any further! I wasted alot of money! All you need anyway is a good Shampoo and conditioner, a leave-in conditioner, deep conditioner, and a few styling products-a jar of grease, moisturizer and/or gel and a heat protectant if you use heat. That's it really! Sure, it's fun to try different things from time to time....just don't make it a habit! I need to give a special Shout Out to my girl Nay for helping me realize I didn't need all thoes stupid products! She's not a PJ (and never has been) and She has gorgeous hair! I forgot to mention Southerngirl, she's responsible for me kicking the PJ habit too...Thanks ladies!

I don't try as many new products anymore, I just try a new product every once in a while like 2-3 x a year. but basically I stick to the ones that I know work for me. I still have the 4 cond to 1 poo going I can't help that I love having a really thick mixture for deep cond treatments.

I currently use 2 shampoos (I rotate), 1 conditioner, 1 deep(protein)conditioner, 1 leave-in conditioner, and about 3 styling products cause I'm determined to use up the mountain of products I bought over the last year! *sigh*
