Can you really relax and color on the same day? I have finally gotten up the nerve to add some oomph to my natural color (well, I'm still too chicken to use permanent color!) and the bottle says that it's "so gentle that you can relax and color on the same day". It's Beautiful colors in Wine Brown...I got it at Sally's. Anyway, can you really do this? Or am I just asking for my hair to fall out?

Thanks!

I used hennalucent on the same day as my relaxer. There is no guarantee that it won't negatively affect your hair it is just a chance that you will be taking in order to give your hair ooomph.

Yes mam, you can do a semi on the same day as relaxing, as long as there is no ammonia or peroxide.

I love the Beautiful collection colors and wine brown is my favorite color!! Isn't it great that you can add color without fear of damaging your hair? Its not a huge change, but it adds shine and enhances your natural color.

I have used Jazzing, which is semi perm if you use it with heat, right after a relaxer.

Yes, I've used Beautiful Browns and Jazzing semi-permanent colors right after a relaxer and it didn't damage my hair.

I use Beautiful Collection also and I always do it the same day as my relaxer.

Yes, and it seems to come out better after a relaxer too!

I'm thinking about adding one in my hair, a burgundy one, but I have to do another strand test to make sure it is something that I want.
