Relaxed Hair ~ Product Question

I am relaxed with pretty short hair sides and back short a little length in from to hang and shaved partially in the back.......I try to use little heat I even air dry and then curl with a flat iron and then try to avoid heat as much as possible until my next wash.

I am looking for a product to use in between when my curl has almost gone and I want a slicker but spikier look......like the tossled spikey look Halle Berry has sometimes.

Any suggestions?

Maybe sum thing like a pomade. I heard curls passion fruit & oyin's pomade are pretty good.
