Blow drying my hair is challenging! I am neck length and the hair on my neck feels like a hot freakin blanket! And it is getting hot in the bathroom! But I’m a soldier in the army of the relaxer, so I will push through. I used two leave-ins DE Bamboo & Silk and Agave & Lavender BlowDry Heat Shield. They changed the formula on me, but it’s cool. The Heat Shield used to be oily. They also changed the formula on the Bamboo & Silk. I like it much better. The original formula felt like a protein spray, not very moisturizing and would leave my hair dry. I did use a bit of Biosilk serum. I won’t need to use anything when I curl my hair.

I finally attached The Grip Comb to my ride or die flat iron. I’m going to test it out tonight (if i don’t get tired) and let you ladies know how it goes.

Oooh how soon are you all resuming your regular schedule wash day program post relaxer? I have a work trip this week and was like do I dry dc Monday before or just wait until Friday.

I would just wash Monday if I had a trip planned. It’s always better to wash your hair in your comfort zone.
I personally may even just do a cowash today since I have sweaty workouts planned.

I forgot I got these hot rollers and flexirods, but I may just pin curl my hair for bedtime. I need some more of those flat clips (small) to pin curl.

Tried: Garnier Bond Filler Serum (as a #7 dupe) to wrap with K18. I expected it to be more of an Oil instead of a 'tacky' product.

I don’t have a reggie per se but I wash/dc. My first wash was more so cowash. I try to focus on moisture as my hair is dry prone.

I’m going to be annoying for a bit but I’m like happy with my hair. I like beauty like deeply if I had more energy I would go deep into beauty creation but it feels great to see the effort of my products in my hair. My hair feels supple and smooth. It makes me want to pull my massager and use my oils. I def will stay relaxed as it’s easier.

Did my 2nd K18 Treatment post June 1 touch-up.
Will do x4 more K18's and then return to a basic Protein/Moisture DC Regi for the remaining weeks after the K18 Treatments.

I finally finished my mini/micro braids Tuesday. I traveled out of town for a funeral and that is the only time my hair has been out since.
I'm planning to keep these braids in until my EOTY texlax and reveal in December - refreshing them as needed.
I keep trying to upload photos but the site isn't letting me anymore. I can only upload photos that have already been hosted somewhere else online. I'm not on SM anywhere so I don't have an online host for my photos

I watched this doc last year and had the same thoughts, I was like “dang, she got all that hair now”. Such a hair fanatic thing to be thinking watching a murder documentary.
But I believe that for some hair types, all they have to do is just not F up their hair. You take away blow dryers, flat irons, and bleach and their hair flourishes without much effort.

I think me and Redken all soft will be having a winter wedding because the way my hair feels is love. I’m a bit under the weather after this work trip but I wanted to keep my routine. Easy smooth wash day.
