I knew before clicking on this thread that you were referring to redhotlala!
She has gorgeous, super long, healthy hair.

Oh yeah I have stalked her fotki from the beginning of my journey. Her hair is breath taking and just so thick and lush.

She mentions that she covers her previously relaxed hair with vaseline. I have been doing this for the past 9 months and I have noticed a significant increase in thickness (I wish that I would have read this years ago!)

She also wrote that she washes her hair every 14-21 days . Not sure if I can do this. Or can I? :scratchch

I like how she has a very simple routine. Off to view some more lusciousness and take some notes :detective:

Gorgeous, gorgeous hair!

Taking notes on her self-relaxing method- I'm trying to become a DIYer in all areas!

Taz, what relaxer are you using? Your hair is delish!

An absolute ideal head of hair. How beautiful!

She is really proof that you can do a better job at home!

I use Phyto II mixed with 1/2 bottle of Biolage Cera-Repair Pro4 Hydratherapie and 2 cap full of EVOO.

Her hair is gorgeous, huh?!!

Goes back for one more look ...:look:

Wow! Her and her sisters hair is beautiful!
ETA: Umm Taz your hair is thick and gorgeous too..do YOU have a fotki??

pretty hair! the mebco shower detangling comb she mentions in her regimen is awesome! i'm 15 months post and have been using this comb since i was about 7 months post and i love it!

I have a question.. Hopefully someone can help.. She said that braiding her sister's hair daily tore up her ends because of the manipulation. Is it because you are unraveling them, probably brushing it out and then rebraiding that's causing the damage? I want to know becuase I wear braid-outs often, they don't get redone daily, but I just wet my hair and put condish and castor oil on my ends and braid them up. Do you think this will damage my ends too? I've not had a problem with splits in the last year as my ends have been carefully cared for, but I dont want to do something that will make them thin out... TIA

They both have lovely hair. I noted how her sister's hair had lots of knots and splits when it was natural, but after texlaxing, she is avoiding that and retaining length better. And funny thing is, her natural hair was always in the ideal protective style: cornrows!
