I just finished relaxing one half of my head, however the other half which is unrelaxed got a little wet. The shower cap that I had covering it didn't protect it like I thought it would. Can I still relax the other half of my head today or should I wait?

lol one time i used a texturizer and accidently put the conditioning creme on first. I put the texturizer on over it and nothing happen. Actually my hair was really soft...

I think if it got a tad bit wet i would wait a few hours for it to dry and put your base on that area a tad bit more just in case.

But I haven't relaxed in about almost 3 years, so what do i know.

others will chime in.

I'm glad to know I am not the only one who does the half-n-half thing. How wet is "a little wet"? Are you talking about just the hair near the place where you parted your hair? I can't see why being a little damp would hurt anything. But if you're concerned hit the area with a blow dryer set to cool to evaporate the water. I use a detachable shower head when I do a half-n-half so I don't usually have issues with my cap slipping.

The same thing happens to me when I do the half and half method. I just take my blow dryer and dry my hair using the cool setting. I wouldn't recommend relaxing wet or damp hair IMHO. HTH
