I successfully self relaxed my hair yesterday (whoooooooooooooooo) using the half and half method. Self relaxing my hair has been a source of stress for me but I really want to care for my hair 100% so I was committed to sticking with me.
Thank you, thank you for the self-relaxing thread and the ladies who suggested I try the half and half method. It made the process less stressful and much easier.

And of course,
lol!
3/19/11 vs yesterday, 5/8/11
ETA: hair from March is oily, causing the strands to stick together and appear thinner (sometimes I hate having fine strands)
Still wet, with leave ins
Air drying in twists, with rollers to smooth out the ends
After flat ironing with Sedu 1" inch, set on 340 degrees
Almost at BSL
Bunning it up until BSL!
Take care ladies! Happy hair growing! Off to cheer for my Celtics!!!!!!
