Relaxers - ph balance

As far as relaxers (lye) what is a good ph balance? I emailed Vitale and asked them about the ph balance of the Vitale Mo body lye (in a box) and they said it was "about 12". If you know of any other lye relaxers and the ph balance please post. Thanx!!!

12 is NOT a bad PH for a relaxer; that is actually low.

I'm not too sure about that (I guess that doesn't answer your question much) but I do follow up for a treatment that restores your ph back after you relax.
