So I posted a coconut milk, shea butter, your choice of DC tip. I praised it for the softness. And I just wanted to show you ladies the results. I'm a very visual person so I love to see pics after someone has raved about something :) I'm a fine haired natural with curls, waves, and straight hair. Hope this helps someone!:drunk:

With the concoction in:

The pics worked fine for me no problem. Wow, your hair looks really soft! I'd like to know the tip as well.

OT: Is your hair colour a permanent or Henna? It looks great on you. :yep:

Ooh, I might try this tonight. My poor hair could use a good DC. I just need to get some coconut milk.

It's permanent :) And what I meant was that last week I posted that coconut milk/shea butter/your choice of DC was a GREAT DC. And so this week just posting the results, since I DC'd mid-week :)

Very nice! I'm going to try this. Your hair looks very moisturized and I haven't DC in a long time (:shhh:) so this will be a treat for my hair.

Your hair is pretty!:yep: I'm going to try this after I take my braids out.

sounds good..what kind of color is that in your hair? i love it..

Honestly I can't tell you a specific name. We used everything Redken. Aaaaand three tries lol. The first came out a chesnutty/brownish-red color. Then I bleached it and it actually came out a gorgeous blonde-orange. Then we washed it out and threw in red pigments. And the final result of the day was a very fire-engine cherry red, with strawberry blonde/goldish highlights. This current color is after muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuulllttiple washes :) So who knows if I'll ever get back to the original color. Here's a pic closer to my original color. It was more of a vibrant red :)

And as you can see my hair was in much worse condition. I went completely natural this year. As soon as I took the sew-in out, I colored it lol, so my hair has been recovering ever since.

Your hair is GORGEOUS!

I 'just' started using coconut milk to DC/steam with. I will try adding another DC in with it, too and see how that turns out.

Looking good!

I think what really helps this recipe, for me, is the shea butter. My hair is so fine that water:rolleyes: makes it weighed down. But for some reason shea butter is heavy enough to keep moisture in it but light enough to keep it feeling just smooth. I hope that that a coconut milk/DC works for you though :)
