These are the rollers I bought

If you look closely, especially at the black and green ones, there are white bristles coming out and a verticle wire through the middle of the roller....it just pushes out and they are ready to use without the worry of tangles.

I didn't rewet my hair as it started to dry. I sprayed detanlger throughout and used mousse at the root and oil on the ends of each section.

OK...I saw these at CVS today....

I have updated my fotki with pictures of my first *successful* rollerset.

May I just say mesh rollers are the truth :D I got mine from Sally's and pulled out the bristles that are in the middle and they are good to go and so easy to use with the roller pins.

Check out the updates in my fotki

Congradulations! Your set is beautiful!

I love the mesh rollers, thanks to Mochamadness.

So the mesh rollers gave better results because of the tighter hold?

Should I keep the pins in there to help secure the roller?

I love mesh rollers too. I get mine from the BSS (they come without the brush thingys in the middle, whereas the ones at sallys come with them). I use the regular metal double pronged clips to secure my mesh rollers. I have pins also (the ones that you stick through the roller), but the metal clips work so much better IMO. I have the pink mesh rollers and the yellow ones which are slightly bigger.
