Rollersetting question

Can I use perm rods to do spiral sets? If so, can someone explain to me how?

Your can use perm rods for spiral sets, a friend of mine was a natural 3a and she use to do it alot, it turned out great. I am not too sure how to put them in, you can try flexi rods or very small rollers instead which I think are a bit easier.

I can actually get the spiral rod affect by using regular rollers. I do this partially because i cant fit under the dryer with rods in my hair and they take forever to dry. I havent figured out how to post pictures on here but u can check in my album for the affect that i get with them. i use GOODY rollers, the green ones. Good Luck!
