Satin pillow case question

Is it really necessary to sleep on satin pillowcases if you sleep in a satin cap or silk scarf? That's is all I sleep in...no special pillowcase. If I had the pillowcase will it make a difference?

No, the scarf should be fine by itself.

The only time it would be a problem is if you have a hard time keeping your hair covering on your head during your bedtime hours then the satin pillowcase would come in handy in addition to the satin head covering.
