Scalp itching and flaking-Braids/Loc extensions

Hi Ladies,

How do you take care of your scalp when wearing these protective styles. I recently installed some loc extensions for a friend and the itching is driving her crazy. Is this normal?

We tried apple cider vinegar rinses and shampooing using a nozzle tip. But its still itching and flaking. Should we oil/grease the scalp? She has been using a spritz daily to moisturize, but nothing really on the scalp.

she's probably allergic to the braid hair.

Try making a Peppermint Oil drip. It's invigorationg.
If that doesn't help, I'd agree with ThatJerseyGirl and maybe have to remove them.
