I've been using Nutrine garlic conditioner as a daily moisturizer which I massage into my scalp to slow shedding and it appears to be working. Also it has a nice scent (not garlicy). Just wanted to share.

I think they are a few old threads with information on the Garlic shampoo.

Queenie said:I use this regularly. I place a teaspoon of crushed garlic in 1 once of olive oil and let sit. After a couple of days you can use it. I put it on my scalp and shampoo it out 30 min later.
I wouldn't reccommend being heavy handed because the smell lingers.

I bought the conditioner yesterday, applied it to my dry hair and it didn't make my hair hard at all. Actually it made it very soft and shiny. I don't know if when I wash it out I will have a different outcome. I will let you know how it works for me.
. I probably won't buy anymore conditioners. But I've been upping my garlic intake (part of my overall health plan). Someone mentioned in another thread somewhere that keeping on up one's B-vitamins also help. I don't want what happened last year to repeat so I'm doing both.
