Shelf life of Lye Relaxers

I ordered an Affirm relaxer offline and of course, there's really no way for me to tell how long its been sitting. So question, how long does a Lye relaxer really last? Does anyone know specifically for the Affirm Lye?

BUMPING..........I would love to know too, but I use Mizani. I have had mine for almost a yr now, it seems to work fine still.

that is good to know because I ordered mine(Mizani butterblend Lye) and the smallest size was 30oz.. I won't even use that much as I only texlax all but the back half of my head. Do you keep yours in the refrigerator?
