Soft Hair, Finally!

I have been wearing braidouts 24/7 since I'm transitioning. I finally figured out how to get soft, shiny hair without heat. I do 14 braids total (7 on each side). Before braiding each section, I rub in a little conditioner then go thru with my kcutter and denman. The key is to let my hair dry COMPLETELY before unbraiding. My hair has been soft, shiny and wavy all week!

Congrats on your braidout success! Are you using a leave-in or a regular moisturizing conditioner? How long does it take for your hair to dry?

I use Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner as my leave-in. Herbal Essences in the pink bottle is great too. If I braid my hair on Friday night, its usually not totally dry until Sunday morning.
