SOUTHERNTEASE :: 1 YEAR UPDATE

So... it's my one year anniversary on LHCF.
I HAVE NOT TRIMMED FOR A YEAR
I HAVE NOT BEEN TO A STYLIST FOR A YEAR
I HAVE NOT RELAXED MY HAIR FOR A YEAR




I plan on rewashing because this looks a hot mess...
stay tuned to that probably around the 15th in my FOTKI...
but here are my pics... as you see I am barely scraping that
6"/year mark... I went from neck length to barely scraping
APL... that was my goal so I'm happy...
FOR 2008 my goal is to get past my bra strap...
hopefully I can get there my April 2009... and then
begin trimming off my relaxed ends... that's it... that's all.

Today I tried my first ponytail rollerset...
it worked fine...
I was a bit paranoid about the elastic bands
but they are silk covered and I was very careful...
anyway...
I only sat under my brand new Pibbs for an hour on 50 degrees...
I should have used a higher temp because then my hair was frizzy...
I tried an unsuccessful silk wrap and then just flat ironed it frizzy...
next time I will dry at a higher temp like I usually do...
I love to experiment but air drying/ low temp drying doesn't work for me... Oh here are some pics from today's set... I will add all to my fotki... one day.

Hey look at that natural curl... yummy huh...
can't wait until my whole head is like that...
I don't know where it came from... I haven't
cut my hair so maybe the relaxer never
reached it or... it broke off... I dunno...
but I'm loving on my little one natural curl

Based on this pic, do you consider your next goal BSL to be the same as Mid-Back? In my book that's the correct way to wear a bra and that's why I use bsl/mbl interchangeably.
