As I was reading snoopy1me's post about reaching their goal naturally and then relaxing, I started to think about what I want to do with my hair. My ultimate goal is BSL...well, that'll get me $500 from hubby since he said I couldn't do it...but once I reach BSL, I'm thinking about going natural. Is that redundant? Has anyone done this?

I don't think it's redundant...there are several ladies here who seem to have this same agenda. Because many folks here have never had APL/BSL/WL hair, they want to see that, and they believe that relaxed hair is the fastest and/or easiest way to see that. After the thrill is gone, they'll transition or even big chop, I suppose.

I certainly plan to transition but it has nothing to do with attaining a certain length first because I'm completely satisfied with my current length.

Good thread.

I know of at least one member here that's done it--Carlie had beautiful waist length relaxed hair and then did the BC. Now she has beautiful natural hair that's growing very quickly.
