Straightening creams for natural hair

I flat iron my aunt's hair and she is natural. I do have a good flat iron, but I think I need a good straightening cream.

Can you ladies please give me some recommendations?

I use crisco shortening with a heat protectant underneath. Gives me a smooth soft press/flatiron that lasts. It's what my mother always used to press my hair till I relaxed at 18.

Ultra Sheen Satin Creme Press is the only one I ever used. I haven't used it in a long time but I liked it back in the day. Crisco is an oil thats like a cream and works good too.

I don't use any cream necessarily, but I do make sure my hair is well conditioned. That is the key for good results.

Lacio Lacio leave-in conditioner gives me relaxer-type results with just a hooded dryer. I imagine it would have even better results on a press.

When I was natural, my mother used Frizz Ease on my hair and it came out really straight

I think it's best to not use any oils or creams when straightening natural (or any) hair. It "cooks" the hair and greatly increases the chance of causing heat damage.

After washing and conditioning the hair, all I really use is a heat protectant before flat ironing.

I flat iron carefully in small sections & use Friz Ease Moisture Barrier hair spray afterwards.
