Texturizer made my hair fall out literally

I'm sorry this happened to you. I hope you make a full recovery soon. Your January pic doesn't look too horrible. At least you did not end up bald, like I did with my jheri curl debacle several years ago. Foolish me thought that I could relax the curl out with a regular relaxer. I did this before I found LHCF.

Goodmorning Ladies,
I have added the pictures to my Fotki with the amount of hair that wouls come out after EVERY single comb. I had that much come out after every single comb. That's a lot It was the view that that picture was taken. I cannot take another view becasue I washed my hair. I have never in my life had thin hair and do not like it. So The next time I wash I will take another picture. I will also take a picture the next time I get it straightened. I will go to the shop in February so that my stylist can see how my hair is coming along. I just want my hair to stop coming out.

Hey Ladies,
So I went to the Dermatologist and I am happy that my hair follicles are not damaged. He said that the chemicals did make my hair fall out and for me to be very gentle with my hair. No heat (which I do not do anyway). My regimen has been before the fall out was wash and DC once a week. My regimen was flat twist and would wear those for three days. Then I would wear a twist out. Would you ladies happen to have any more low regimen hair styles for me that are cute. Cause now I am not feeling cute.

Allandra - I am upset as well but am happy that my hair follices are not damaged. I now have to stat all over. Maybe this happened for a reason to tell me that i cannot get chemicals. I am thinking about shaving off my hair and start all over and just wear wigs.

This is what I choose to do back when I got my texturizer. I was beyond frustrated and just said the heck with it. I don't have any suggestions for styles other than wearing wigs w/say cornrows underneath maybe. After I did the bc, when my hair grew to where it could be braided I had it cornrowed weekly and wore wigs every day. I would wash/dc once a week and get it rebraided and that was it.....too bad I choose to get yet another relaxer(I have got to stay away fromt these darn chemicals).

WOW I am sorry to hear about this. Just take your time and nurse your hair back to health. Your hair will grow back thicker stronger and longer. =)
