Supergirl
With Love & Silk
All around the internet, you will find a fairly recent phenomenon known as a "hair board." Sadly enough, many of the ladies that frequent these boards are stricken with a rare affliction known as Product Junkie-ism, as it is previously called being a PJ. If you are wondering if this serious ailment has taken over you, please take time to read the 7 steps. If you can identify with them then chances are, you're a PJ

1. Love: You find a product that you go nuts for. It is too perfect for words in your eyes
2. Sharing: You begin to share with your fellow hairboardees how wonderful this product is...even convincing a few to go out and buy it themselves
3. Fear: You begin to fear that one day (even if 10 years from now) the manufacturer will cease to make this product & you wonder how you will go on if that happens.
4. Hoarding: You go back to buy more of the product. In fact, you buy several of them--many more than you could possibly use RIGHT NOW!
5. Making a collection: You decide that since this product is so fabulous, the other products in the line must be of the same caliber. You go BACK to the place where you bought the products to pick up the accompanying styling products, etc.
6. Settling down: You have settled down with your new love & are certain that you've found your pie in the sky. You just know that you are no longer a PJ. You are happy with your new products(for the next few weeks anyway) *If you go more than a couple of months & are still happy with these products--you might genuinely be ready to stop at this "settling down" step for good
7. SWITCH: This is the mark of a true, un-rehabilitated PJ--the temptation is too great. One of your fellow PJ's that is on stage 2 comes to the board with a raving review of something. So you cave & try it, out of curiosity you tell yourself...you know--just to satisfy that PJ itch. This stage can make you or break you. If you are not nearly as happy with this new temptation as you are with the product you were about to settle down with--you may have made the great escape from PJism with only a few small relapses here and there. If not--go back to #1 and begin again
