DH starts his new job tomorrow :look: so I'll try to get my picture taking done then, so he won't call me out about alllll my stuff.

And we have to include EVERYTHING ladies - even stuff you don't use anymore - if you KNOW you won't ever, ever, ever use it again - throw it away.

Or! Oooh!

Okay, right. We can't BUY anything. But - well, if someone happened to GIVE us something...... ??? :grin: I have a couple of things from the old cone'y days that I know I won't use - and some folx might wanna scoop them up. I'm pretty sure I haven't thrown them out, yet.

I'm not even gonna front, I probably can't do it. I need to use my MegaTek and my Jason Biotin Shampoo/Conditioner and get somewhere and saddown...I already bought a lot of stuff this month. Let me meditate on this. Can I sign up tomorrow? :grin:

I will check my stash tonight...I am scared to pull all that out while E is home...:lachen: I'll take a picture and post a pic. I guess being on the challenge will force me to use what I have, so it's not all bad.

I really need this challenge! I need the support! I need the accountability! Ya'll, I need help!

I have more stuff than should be allowed. I do need to get my relaxer today to make sure I don't need to buy anything for the month of May. But I'm supposed to be moving at the end of May/beginning of June and the more stuff I buy, the more stuff I'll have to pack and put into storage until I get settled somewhere. Who needs to put money in storage?

Anyway, I'm hoping that May will just kick-start me for the summer :yep: My personal goal is to make it through to July 31st (only buying my relaxers, when needed, and some MegaTek and FINALLY a stand dryer when I get my stimulus check....the rest will go into savings)...but one day at a time:yep:

Oh...I had taken a pic last year of one side underneath my bathroom sink...I don't have time, patience, nor inclination to take pics of all of my products AND supplements :nono: Shoot, oils, too? Implements, combs, barrettes and snag-frees....:nono: I'll put the pic I have in my avi while on this challenge. I still have most of that stuff plus a whole lot more :look: and even had the nerve to add to it...:rolleyes:
 
I'm game for this challenge. I guess this means that I have to go out today and buy all my desired products.
 
I just brought the last two things that I 'think' I'll need - more THickIt2 for my concoctions, and one of those head massager things.

I've got plenty on conditioner, my ayurvedics are on their way here from India (I should be getting them in the next week or so), and I just reupped on banana baby food.

Hrm. I might be cutting it close with the molasses..... but I think I can make it last.

Im going back to JC Penney tomorrow but that to EXCHANGE the Humectin I have... the bigger size was hidden on a top shelf marked 2 for 18.99 on CLEARANCE( normally $30 each) .... I paid 13.99 for one and got the 2nd half price for the SMALL size just yesterday
and then thats it!!!
 
Kiya, what is thickit2, what do you use it for, and where can I buy this online? You and I seem to be doing a lot of things in common, that's why this inquiring mind wanna know.

Girl Ericka I just did the same thing. Makin' sure I could hang with this challenge. If I succeed, I'm tellin you guys now that I'm gonna owe my self a big treat on June1st, just pray for me that I don't suffer a massive relapse like a hopeless:alcoholic:grin:.

My biggest challenge with this is preventing myself from stalking the BSS. Lord hep ma'

It's a food quality, highly active cornstarch, basically. It's been modified so that you don't have to heat it in order for the 'starch' properties to kick in, and it's 'starchier' so that you need a LOT less of it to get good results. It's 'official' use if for people who have swallowing issues - it's mixed with food to give a honey or 'pudding' consistency, without changing the color or the taste of the food.

I use it to make my homemade mixes thicker, to combat the drippies. I first used it with my yogurt treatment - it worked wonderfully. Then I used it for my caramel treatment - and true, it didn't drip, but I felt like I got slimed when I was rinsing it out - I don't think the caramel had enough water in it to work 'right' - but I'm for sure going to try it again. The next thing I want to try it in/with is my Ayurvedic 'tea'. I keep it in the fridge to 'hold' it, and MAN but that stuff is a cold, cold liquid - but I think if I made it into a gel, it would work SO much better!

I first got the sample sizes from the manufacturer's website (just emailed them and asked for some samples). I re-upped on eBay, as they had the best prices, but some Walgreens' are supposed to sell it, as well as walgreens.com.

I used the ThickIt2 instead of the ThickIt because it's supposed to be 'stronger' - and I while I know it's safe, I wanted to use as little starch as possible.
 
I think I am going to join this challenge. I need to stop buying so much stuff! That way I can use up some of my products and start June with a fresh relaxer and get my hands on the new Redken line...:)

Just making sure--going to the salon doesn't count, right? I'm getting my 15 week touch up on Friday. I'm paying for a service but I'm not purchasing anything.
 
Ok Im in because I dont need any more products except a relaxer cause Im considering ending my transition and some surge(i saw one bottle at this beauty supply store and i need to add it to my arsenal(only 2and a half bottles left). But thats it. I may go pick them up tonight:yawn:
 
Ok I am in. I just got an order from Puritan with my vitamins, coconut oil, and aloe vera gel. I have enough cheapie conditioner to start a small sore so I should be good. However does it count if we don't actually spend any money? I get a lot stuff with CVS extra care bucks so its really free????:look:
