Did anyone see the show last night?? Would someone please tell me what the deal is with her hair??!! I mean, please tell me they didn't bleach that little child's hair that light blonde color??!! Could that be natural?? I don't think so!!!
I noticed her hair as well. It looked to me like an added piece/ ponytail. The texture of the blond hair which was hanging out looked different than the hair on her head.
YOU KNOW I WAS WANDERING THE SAME THING.
IT ALSO LOOKS LIKE THEY RELAXED IT TOO.
ANYWHO SHE'S A CUTIE. I THINK THEY NEED TO LEAVE THAT
BABIES HAIR ALONGE BEFORE IT FALLS OUT

Yes, so did I. I remember when the show came back on for that second season and I asked my daughter "Did she always have hair that color??" I didn't remember it being blonde before!!
I seriously don't think her hair lightened that much naturally... I can't believe they put bleach in that little girl's hair!!!
Hollywood!!!
That's a real shame. I guess they wanted it to match her mother's (in the show)(mental block: I can't remember her name right now!! (The mother's hair was lighter then; now it's darker again).
Regardless of what the network wants, that little girl has a mother and she could of said no. That little girl kind of acts grown up and I can picture her asking to get her hair dyed but her mother should of put her foot down.
I thought it looked crazy!! I can't believe they have her on national television looking jacked up like that. And the blond doesn't even look natural, even before it started growing out!!
I wonder if the little girl is biracial. Sometimes causcians let their children color their hair. In the black community it would be a no no to color a child's hair.

I agree. I think they should put a dark rinse or demi-permanent over it and then leave it alone!! It DOES look ridiculous now. Especially on a little girl.
OMG! I was thinking the same thing.. I was hoping it was a ponytail piece. I just saw some children phony pony's in the beauty supply store - maybe that's what it was.
I was wondering about that too. I thought that her hair was dyed a sort of orange looking color last season, but last night the ponytail was blonde looking. Does that mean that although they dyed her hair, the ponytail last night was a piece ? How could it have gotten even lighter while growing out ? Also, I feel that she's a little too young to have her hair colored. In my humble opinion, young people shouldn't have chemicals put into their hair until they are old enough to know how to maintain their hair. I started getting relaxers at 8, but regret it now. If I have any daughters the rule will be no chemicals at least until the age of 18,lol

Yes she's bi-racial her mom white and her dad black. I saw the show last night. I was looking at her hair too. Also I like Jennifer Freeman's hair. I notice that little grew a few inches. I didn't watch the show for aehile until last night.
yeah they dye job sucks on a girl so young but if you think about it, a relaxer is kind of "too old" in my opinion as well.Unless its impossible to comb through their curl pattern. For some reason I dont like seeing little girls that are five and six years old with wraps, doobies and adult updos. What happened to plan old ponytails with barettes and ribbons?
I also wondered if the little girl's hair was dyed or bleached. My niece was born with very light/blonde hair and she is now 16 and her hair color has not changed.
Yup, I noticed it too, I kept looking like WTH? I came up with this theory: Okay, last summer she spent the entire summer in somewhere like Jamaica, The Cayman Islands or Hawaii somewhere.. Everyday she spent outside playing in the water and the sun and it was the sun that naturally lightened her hair. She returned to LA where she's indoors most of the time out of the sun and her darker new growth is coming in...hence the two different colors.
That's the only thing I can think of. If anyone got near that child with some color they really ought to be smacked.
She definitely had it dyed before (probably a few times, actually), but I think on the show this week, it was a fake piece, because the texture was far more shiny than the rest of her hair. But it looked really stupid.
Hmmm…why does a red flag go up when I read this? Why did they dye this girls hair? They could have used henna instead. Can someone tell me if hair dye is safe to use in children???? Are dyes currently on the market safe??? Isn’t there some level of absorption of the chemical thru the scalp from hair dyes??? I can’t remember. Where is a chemist when you need one? LOL

I don't think henna would have gotten her hair as light as it is. If they did in fact dye her hair, it seems like they did it so it would be similar in color to Tisha Campbell's haircolor. But who knows? Maybe it is natural and it lightened in the sun????
*edited to add* Scratch that... if you look at the pics DSD posted, there's no way ALL her hair lightened in the sun!!!
I don't know if they dyed it but I know it can turn that color if it is relaxed and she starts swimming. I have a friend and her daughter started taking swimming lessons over the summer and that's the color her hair turned around the edges. Her mother thought it was a combination of the relaxer, swimming, and the summer sun.
