Don't get me wrong, I like her videos and will be buying them but I would not recommend her webpage. I could think of a lot of hair diva's with free info say like KINIKAKES:yep:.

Flygirl05 I think Oneya was thinking of it being an issue from a business point of view, meaning if people only join for one month how can Macherie maintain the site for steady revenue.

My question is for those who have joined the site how is the information given is it one on one and is there a forum or video tutorials what makes it unique?

Thanks in advance, I would like to know before I spend my money.

Where is she at anyway? I haven't seen her in a long minute.......

She has a site through webzing, I think. I will look that up. I love her step by step guide.

This is exactly what I was trying to say.
The videos are not unique you can find the same type on youtube, unless you want to specifically look at Macherie
I don't think I have the opportunity for personal consultation...I'll look for it

I wish I could give you all my password and email for a day, and then change the password, but there are some crazy people out there who would be mean enough to lock me out!

ITA with the bolded. If I continue to try different things on my own & fail - I might actually join for like a month or two. Just to get me on the right track. I've done searches and read threads thru & thru but I think I'm just confusing myself & my hair is snapping off left & right. So if I spend that much in products (3 month membership) I might be inclined to do it! However with the recession, the only way I justify mini splurges is if I also have to contribute just as much to my savings acct. So I'd have to be doubly sure. :)

Also, as a newbie I'm sure I missed a lot of really good free advice. I've posted a thread asking for advice, but didn't really receive any...

I was thinking this, too. We all know that there is some kind of hierarchy here that in part determines how much help and response you get to a post. If that site offers personal attention to each of its members, it might be worth it for them.

Longhairlover, I didn't mean to sound so divisive for natural and relaxed hair, but I truly do believe the care is different. She may have had natural hair at some point in her life, but that doesn't mean she's a natural hair expert. As you say, we've all had natural hair at some point in our lives. Yet that doesn't make us all natural hair experts. Thinking of the few video tutorials I've seen from her, they just don't feel applicable to my hair type.

I think it may be best to join later, perhaps 4-6 months, she is still renovating the new site.

Now, speaking of "issues", this would be my only issue with the new site from a business standpoint....

So it's still being renovated? Everything should've been completed before members signed up and paid their money. If the site is not yet equipped with all of the perks that were advertised, then THAT could be an issue. If others feel like you Oneya, then members could opt out of the membership plan for the next month due to the site being incomplete at this time. --Which would not be a good thing.

The site should've been completely robust for the new launch. I do hope that she gets all features implemented as soon as possible.

When I first heard about this my reaction was $100 a year!! WTF?????????????

But then I read about her justifications and I have a lot of respect for her as a business woman. She knows what she is doing and I have no doubt she'll be successful in whatever she chooses to do. I personally won't be joining because I don't feel I need to but other people will and I can see from the poll that some people have.

I know this isn't the only business venture she is looking at either so if it doesn't work it doesn't work....on to the next like any other business person would do. More power to her, I'm rooting for her.

I don't think her demographic is the people of LHCF either. She's a smart woman, do doubt she has done her market research and her calculations and knows how many she expects to join. She obviously has a business plan in place, she didn't just wake up one day and say "Hey I'll start a site just like LHCF but charge $99 for it". She knows what she is doing, if her site isn't around in a years time, better believe she will be with a bigger and better idea.
