I was looking through some old photos and found a picture of my first texturizer. i remember really hating it because i wanted loose curls and the stylist had got it so wrong, it was too frizzy and i used a Affirm fiberguard which was very mild for my texture. i never posted these pictures on the forum because i thought everyone would hate as much as i did. When i compare the current texture and condition of my hair after going to diiffrent stylists, i wish i stuck with the texture of my first texturizer, i have really have fallen in love with it for the thickness, strength and texture. The only thing i would have wanted is the have a little more definition. my hair was soo strong and i never had any breakage problems. these pics make me wanted to chop all my hair off. yes i do have the loose curls i wanted but its weaker, drier, thinner and ruined because the stylist straightened my roots.

here are the pics i was hiding, taken in dec 2003!!! sorry i can't find the front pic, it had a more wavy look.

I know that now, but at the time i was expecting the result to be very loose texturized curls, not soo much frizz, i didn't like it, that's why i didn't post them at the time.

Den1,
Those pictures really are pretty. Your post made me think about how you think you need to lose weight and then five or so years later you look at pictures of yourself and go, "Oh I was so thin, what was I thinking?" Anywho, live and learn. Hope you get to the texture you want sooner than later and praying you won't end up having to do too big of a chop.

Exactly, it's funny how sometimes we misconstrue things, this is definitely a learning experience. I'm gonna try and stick out transitioning without doing the big chop. thanks for the compliments, i only wish my hair was like that now.
