I went to TJMaxx this weekend ant they had these 6" Baby Babyliss flat irons. They fit in the palm of my hand and the pkg said that it was for touch ups. You could literally fit it in the side pocket of a small purse. They were only 19.99 and some other really interesting looking flat irons both reg size and baby sizes. Plus, they had large bottles of Natures Gate products for like 3.99 - 7.99. They also had these ProSys conditioners which have some really good ingredients.

Here's some info about the ProSys I got:
Blue Marine Complex helps to protect the hair from damage by providing amino acids & natural nutrients extracted from brown algae (tangle), green algae (chlorella) & red algae (laver). Grape Seed Oil, Vitamin induction & high grade silicone protects the cuticle layer & helps promote glossy & soft hair. Well-being Conditioner is a treatment conditioner that will restore the PH of the hair especially after highly alkaline processes such as color & perms.

I bought the conditioners since I'm leaving heat alone until March, plus I couldn't afford anything more. I tried the Prosys conditioner last night and baggied over night. My natural 4A/B hair was very very soft and shiny when I rinsed it out this morning.

Hey I saw those baby flat irons and thought they'd be great for flat ironing my NG because its so small...

I didnt read the packaging. I was concerned that since it was smaller, it wouldnt put out enough heat/power to straighten my hair.

Did it have temperature settings?

I said PJs Beware!!! I'm so sorry, maybe they won't have them at the TJ Maxx where you live. I live near the west coast.

Mz Brown - Yup!! The Babyliss did, I don't remember if the others did or not.

No problem sweetie...uh you know I am going to look right?? Hey I said just look :look::giggle:

lord, now i'm thinking of the various tj maxx stores i now have to hit in nj.....maybe nyc too,
thanks alot lol!!

I already have probably over 50 products in my house that I don't really use sigh.

see, "touchups" is what gets people in trouble anyway. your hair's gonna break off from touching up your hair with that flat iron!

i just said that to keep away some of you PJs....LOL

Preaching to the choir and I know I have over 50 conditioners alone, but that hasn't stopped me yet. I go to TJ's and Marshall's every week and have been eyeing the Prosys stuff for a couple months now. Seems like there was something in the ingredient list that turned me off, can't remember. I look at so much stuff, at times it all just runs together!

Eisani - The ProSys has a cone in it, but it says its water-soluable I think. I don't feeling like shuffiling all my stuff off my lap to go upstairs and look. I do notice a softness and shininess with it. i'll have to test it for the long term though. I got 100ml for 9.99. Its a huge bottle so I'll have it for a while.

I know. Those touch ups can kill. But I was thinking that since I don't straighten often I could get the baby babyliss and use it like the regular one for less than half the price. I wasn't sure that the baby would really get it like a full sized one would. I still don't have the money for it right now anyway.

Dang, how do you know that I live less than a mile from a TJ Maxx? I've got to go check it out....

I bought one of those little irons from Marshall's a couple of weeks ago. I haven't used it yet, I may just return it.
