Hi Ladies,
I'm hoping a lot of ladies answer so my dismay can help someone when they're feeling no so great about the state of their hair.
I'm 6 months into my transition and I had to give myself a large chop at the beginning of December to stop hearing that snap/crackle/pop my painfully thin ends were making. My hair looks a lot healthier, but I'm sometimes "just not feelin'" what I look like in my new hair.
Don't get me wrong, the twist bantu knot thing is doing wonders for me, and I'm getting good growth with my MegaTek, but I just never liked me in short hair, so this part of my transition is just painful. It's made also a bit challenging by the fact that I'm trying to get out there and date as well and just am NOT feeling sexy with this hair.
Does anyone have any tips to help while it's growing out? Any ideas how to get softer hair? Thanks!

. My best transitioning styles were twistouts, flexirod sets, braidouts, and buns.

) to rock it.....wear your hair in a big braid out or some thing big but awesome (somewhat neat) and rock a bright, bold lip color.
I have all this nice thick type 4 hair that holds a twist really well...and then I have 6 inches of stick straight stringy don't-wanna-curl relaxed hair
I'm soo glad I learned how to do my own braids & extensions & discovered wigs. That's what I do when I'm tired of looking at my own hair, lol.
and the hair was a free gift from guyanesesista, thanks sweetie!
