Trouble Parting/Sections My Roller Set

Hi Ladies! I have a TWA, but it's long enough to roller set. I used the lavendar and green magnetic rollers to set it with TJ Nourish and Coconut oil. It came out fabulously smooth and soft; however, the style was horrible. I looked like a little old granny. I did the the typical parting with the big rollers down the middle and the smaller on the sides and I rolled the hairs so that it was going toward the back of my head. What are some ways to section or part hair, so that I can get some cute styles. Does anyone know of any you tube videos that show different ways to section? Thanks for any help.
