updated my pics!!!

Hi friends, I just updated my pictures and I got some growth going and I didn't have to get my hair cut!!! I am going to start taking pant. acid 500 mg twic daily starting some time next week to combat the shedding and thinning out problem I have. I am so surprised that I have any hair left on my head. /images/graemlins/grin.gif Thanks ladies for all your great advice. I just took my hair down from a wrap for the pictures. I'm gonna post some more pictures tommorrow when I use my caruso's (too rainy today). /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

It also seems that your layers have grown out quite well. When were the initial pictures taken? What exactly do you attribute to your growth. Another thing I noticed are those nails of yours. I have a question for you, when were the pics in your first album taken? Just so I can understand how long it took to get those results.

This will help to keep me motivated. My theory (and experience)is that if you are consistant on your routine, you can begin to see results/major improvement as soon as one month as far as health of your hair etc.

And then it just improves over time.

Ok, let's see if I can answer all those questions!

The first album was made December 3rd or somthin' like that.
And as you can see Allandra, I WAS desperately tryin to hide my face with the camera. /images/graemlins/cool.gifcool huh!
Since 9th 10th grade when I stopped taking piano lessons, my nails started growing vey fast and thick, I think this is because for over 5 years my piano teacher made me trim and file my nails all the way down to the nubb. /images/graemlins/mad.gif Also, I notice that when I keep my nails long, my hair grow longer. (Reflexology ----tapping nails makes hair grow) /images/graemlins/shocked.gif
As far as my hair regime here it goes:

1 one a day (active)multi
6 tablespoons Optimum's Amino Liquid 2222
8 oz. mixture Chlorella and water 2-3 times a week..keeps me regular too
2 MSM 700mg-------just started a few weeks ago
As much water as I can stand-(hate it, tastes like toilet bowl)

This winter I have been washing hair about 1x a week with Elasta QP moisturing shampoo...my favorite!!!!

Condition with Hollywood cream olive oil cholesterol, or Natural Island Maximos conditioner/ reconstructor under dryer for 10-15 minutes.

Rinse out, comb through under showerhead. dab hair with towel and use Infusium 23 or IC Fantasia as leave in.

Let hair dry in ponytail. Wear a fake ponytail moisturizing ends with braid spary. Cornrow hair and wear under wig.If I don't feel like doing all of this the following week, I will just do it while my hair is cornrowed, dry and slap on wig.

I moisturize daily with braid spray and Infusium. I apply doo grow stimulating oil to scalp whenever my scalp feels dry.

OK, my hair type is 4a. I use a naturalaxer that my hair stylist created. I don't get any damage from this since he knows how to apply it to my head. I could do it myself, but my hair doesn't get straight when I do it and I don't have a professional blow dryer. It never gets bone straight it only loosens the curl enough that it can be easily blow dried straight. My hair is actually thin, but because his relaxer doesn't take out all the curl, it is left with body and bounce instead of being plastered to my head like other relaxers do to my hair. I posted info on this on a thread to sassygirl. I'll try to find it

I think I have anwered all the questions. I really just can't beleive that my hair grew at all (I NEVER GET GROWTH OVER THE WINTER) Can't wait till summer /images/graemlins/wink.gif

I didn't even look at the Dec. pics I went straight to the March pics. Did you dye your hair brown? Because in the Dec. pics your hair looks jet black. How much do you think your hair has grown in 3 mths? I thought my hair grew fast I'd have only gotten 1.5 to 2 in. in that time, though.

Yeah, me too!! /images/graemlins/mad.gif It takes 2 or 3 weeks for my hair to have any kind of body or volume after a touch-up... I think I may look into that naturalaxer myself /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think I got two inches of growth since Dec. The pictures in my 1st album don't show my full length. The back was curled under. No, I didn't dye my hair. I think my ebony henna has mostly washed out. My natural color is off black.
